I can totally relate to no. 22: wake up early and smell the 4am air. Whenever I do that, I make sure that I have my Bible with me. I usually do my devotion on that part of the day.

with the advent of the so-called online greeting card, I think  sending someone a card via snail mail is a cute thing to do. also, I pray not only for the things I need but the needs of others as well.

@DonaldPagulong Hi sir, indeed it is a cute thing to do (my parents say so too!).

I like to start my day with a quick prayer. Keeps my mind and priorities in focus and in check :)

I'd go for 2,3, 7, 8.  I'd like to go for "Go technology-free for one entire day" but I don't think I can do that since my work has to do with online and technology XD Love to do the others though :D

@ecyang09 Hey there, it's a great challenge to undertake.

I suggest signing up for a meditation camp or just contacting a retreat house (I love the MIC sisters in Davao, they're awesome and very kind) and just kick back tech-free for a few days. Great for the soul, trust me.

Uhm.... I do 2,3,4,8,9,17,19,21,26 and 30. Numbers 7 and 15 are elusive to me with my baby around and a lot of things that needs to be done online.

@engrmarkmorfe Hi Mark, #7 seems to be tough for you guys with kids!

I'm not yet a dad myself but I rarely get those kinds of hours myself. Work gets in the way during weeknights, so I catch up on weekends. Should count! Hehe

@DaquioJanine Hi Janine, I agree with you. The simplest things seem to be the ones we forget the easiest. Hence this reminder for myself, and for my readers.

Couldn't agree more, happiness is a choice.  Seeing the positive side can light us up even on a gloomy day.

Wow, a lot of these are hard to do (especially with a kid, 7, 22 and 25 sounds like a challenge haha). I remember having to do #15 for  a class project. I may or may not have faked the last half of it. Great list though! I honestly think there'd be less stress without technology but I know it's not an option for some people and we truly do live in a world where it's unavoidable and almost ncessary :)

@effortlessmom Hi there, thanks for dropping by!

Yes, technology is a double-edged sword, it seems. On one hand it helps us get life organized but on the other, it can become so intrusive too! Good luck with achieving all of these given the busy mommy schedule :)

The most difficult of them all is no. 15. I can't go technology-free for one entire day! Haha. I'd go crazy without it. I mean, technology is just anywhere--this is not just about using the computer.

@rochkirstin santos I completely agree. When I went to a spiritual retreat back in 2011, the lack of a mobile phone drove me nuts for hours. It was very liberating on the second day and beyond though :)Thanks for dropping by!
